This site has one form. It asks for one email address. This page says what happens to it.

Who is collecting it

Moon Events is run by Serhii Voitov, an individual. It is not a company. He is the data controller for anything you type into the form on this site.

How to reach him

serhiimxn [at] gmail [dot] com

Written out like that so address harvesters have a harder time with it. Read it as a normal email address.

What is collected

Your email address. That is the whole list. No name, no phone number, no date of birth, no school, nothing else. The form has one field because one field is all that is needed.

When you press submit, Cloudflare runs a check that you are a person and not a bot. That check sees your IP address and some information about your browser. Moon Events does not store your IP address.

Why it is collected

To email you once, when Moon Events launches. That is the only purpose. No newsletter, no marketing, no other messages.

What makes this lawful

Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. The box is never pre-ticked. You can take that consent back at any time by writing to the address above, and the record gets deleted.

How long it is kept

Until launch, and then six months. After that the record is deleted. If you ask for it to be deleted sooner, it is deleted sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can:

Write to the address above for any of the first four. You do not have to explain why, and there is no charge.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare, and nobody else. Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the database the email address is stored in, and does the bot check on the form. It acts on instructions from the controller and does not use the data for its own purposes.

What is not happening

If this page changes

The date at the top changes with it. If the change affects what is collected or why, everyone already on the list is asked again rather than told after the fact.
